Master Carlo started his Taekwondo journey with 9th Degree Black Belt - Grandmaster Kim in 1980. After achieving his black belt at an early age, Master Carlo would dedicate his life to the perfection of Taekwondo and martial arts.

6th Dan Black Belt

Master Adam started his Taekwondo training with Grandmaster Kim at age 5. Throughout the year he earned his 3rd degree black belt by the age of 13, being the youngest 3rd degree black belt in our founding school's history.

Master Jeff

7th Dan Black Belt

Master Jeff, started Taekwondo at the age of 14, who was kicked out of school for fighting. His father believed joining a martial arts was needed to learn respect towards others. His father was right, and Master Jeff fell in love with Taekwondo immediately.

Pure Taekwondo was founded in 2004 in Santa Clara, CA as a freelance endeavor built on the foundation of indomitable determination.

The masters of Pure Taekwondo are high-level Kukkiwon certified black belts that has fully trained in the arts of Taekwondo, Hapkido, and Judo that spans a legacy of over 120 years. Each master is well established in each of discipline to the highest caliber.

Pure Taekwondo is committed to building a school with strong fundamentals in traditional martial arts while delivering the highest quality of martial arts training and world-class instruction that is unprecedented in the area.
