7th Dan Black Belt

Master Jeff

Master Jeff began his Taekwondo journey at age 14 in Upstate New York after a pivotal moment in his youth led his father to introduce him to martial arts. Training under Grandmaster Sang Lee—who later became the U.S. Olympic Head Coach in 1988 and former USA Taekwondo Presidewnt, he quickly developed a lifelong passion for Taekwondo.

After college, Master Jeff continued his training at Kim’s KTA, where he formed a lasting friendship with Grandmaster Carlo. He went on to earn his 7th Dan under Grandmaster Sang Lee and currently serves on the executive board of the U.S. Taekwondo Center (USTC).

A decorated competitor, Master Jeff has won numerous national and international titles, represented the United States at the World Championships in Korea, and most recently captured three first-place finishes at the 2025 Kukkiwon World Taekwondo Championship alongside his longtime friend, Grandmaster Carlo. Today, as a senior leader at Pure Taekwondo, he remains dedicated to advancing his art and inspiring the next generation of martial artists.
