Pure TKD® does not publicize its prices to protect its cost structure. We’re happy to disclose prices to anyone who contacts us by email or phone, but the best way is to visit our location and enjoy a free try-out. Book a class today!
Pure TKD® does not require any registration or membership fees. Our fees are upfront and guaranteed upon sign-up.
Pure Taekwondo only charges student belt changes, and for the actual test for black belt. Other than that Pure Taekwondo doesn't charge for every level on each belt like other schools.
Pure TKD ™ strives to keep its price competitive in the current market. We cannot guarantee prices that are posted on online resources or quoted over the phone. Pure Taekwondo also does not price match with any other market price nor do we provide discount pricing. The best way to get pricing is to visit our location and try out a free class or demo lesson. Prices can be discussed once the lesson has been completed.
Pure TKD ™ does not provide additional discounts to the class fees or merchandise. Pure Taekwondo® offers one flat fee that is fair and very competitive in today's market.
Eligibility to test for black belt will be based the student's current rank status and knowledge of the curriculum. Black Belt testing fees are based on Kukkiwon's administration fees and will be determined during the application process.
Pure TKD does not use contracts. Active members must sign a payment agreement to lock in current rates.
Pure Taekwondo is currently accepting online payments only. Current and new members that sign the payment agreement will be moved to an ACH payment system once it is availble. Credit Cards will soon be accepted before the end of 2020.
Members can opt-out of their payment agreement by submitting a cancellation form. Cancellations are generally planned and submitting the cancellation form will ensure you have a smooth exit from our program.
Members that cancel are always welcome to return. Returning members will need to sign a new payment agreement as new rates may apply.
Class fees are non-refundable nor can they be pro-rated.
Class fees are due at the beginning of every month and is based on a 4 week/ per month cycle.
Pure Taekwondo does not prorate or refund for any sessions missed due to vacation or leave of absence.
Members that due go on vacation or leave of absences should pay for the amount of time they are gone. That amount will be credited back upon their return. Example, if you go on vacation for 2 months, then those two months must be paid in full. Those two months will then be rolled over and credited upon your return.

Pure Taekwondo currently accept credit cards payment for purchases for the online proshop.
Updates will be provided to members when the credit card option becomes available for class fee payment.
A student's current rank status from another martial arts school that is not affiliated with Pure Taekwondo is non-transferrable.
Students who wish their rank status to be evaluated must complete an assessment with the Grandmaster of Pure Taekwondo. There is no garuantee of retaining a rank status from a previous martial arts school. If the assessment is positive, and if the student is allowed to maintain their rank it may take some time to achieve the next level as students acclimate to thier new program. Pure Taekwondo wants to ensure that all students have a great learning experience and to be the best in their class.
Kukkiwon certification is the only way a potential students can maintain their black belt status when transferring to Pure Taekwondo.
However, students that hold a Kukkiwon certificate will need to meet the same standards set by Pure Taekwondo to attain the next degree.
Belt level exams are held every 30 to 45 days depending on student eligiblity.
Students that meet testing requirements are eligible for the belt level examination.
100% we do! Pure Taekwondo is an affiliated member of Kukkiwon and the Kukkiwon Membership System. Black belt candidates that pass the black belt exam at Pure Taekowndo will receive a Kukkiwon Certificate and Kukkiwon ID card. We do not provide inhouse false certification, we provide legitimate Kukkiwon Certificates recognized around the world.
Kukkiwon is a Korean Government sanctioned entity that certifies black belts around the world. Kukkiwon certification ensures that black belts retain their rank as black belt at any Kukkiwon affiliated school.
Pure Taekwondo schedules make up exam two weeks after a reguallary schedueld belt examination. This is to provide an opportunity for students to make up an exam if they missed the initial exam for any reason.
At Pure Taekwondo, we absolutely love when parents connect with their children! However, we kindly suggest that parents refrain from assisting their children during or after class. It's all about keeping things separate to help the kids focus and learn effectively.

Parents are not recommended to coach their child while they are competiting. Doing so will confuse the student in how they should perform under pressure. The masters and instructors of Pure Taekwondo are highly qualified and US Taekwondo certified coaches.
Parents should entrust their child to our coaches during these competitions. Students should always leverage their master/ instructor and coach of Pure Taekwondo as the source of truth.
We love feedback! Pure Taekwondo does send survey's on occassion to see how our school is doing.
We recommend that members postpone on providing feedback during or between class times.

All equipment is sold and provided by Pure Taekwondo. Sparring requipment is regulated and approved by World Taekwondo.
As a policy; equipment outside of the Pure Taekwondo program is prohibited. This is so Pure TKD, maintains the level of quality of the equipment for safety.
Students will not be required to have sparring equipment until after they achieve Yellow Belt.
Yes! All students of Pure Taekwondo must wear the standard uniforms provided and branded by Pure Taekwondo. Uniforms are included when students sign up for the 4-week trial.
Uniforms outside of the Pure Taekwondo program are not permitted.
Equipment from outside of the Pure Taekwondo system is not allowed.
Members of Pure Taekwondo must purchase equipment directly from Pure Taekwondo, this includes uinforms, shoes, sparring equipment and any additional accessories or clothing.
Pure Taekwondo has a standard of quailty that must be met by all of its members.

No. Due to health concerns, Pure Taekwondo can not buy back previousely used equipment.
It can take 5 years to achieve a black belt ranking.
This will vary from student to student and will be based on the student's commitment to attend classes and willingness to perfect the quality instruction that is provided.
Pure Taekwondo now uses a granding system. This grading system will allow students to understand their technical attributes and know what to work on for future tests. This granding system will also ensure that students become more motivated and push them selves to the next level.
Students must show competency in their form, technique, and behavior in order to recieve the required grade.
Pure TKD ™ is a Kukkiwon affiliated school that teaches a "Modern" style of Taekwondo and teaches the style and methods set forth by Kukkiwon's organized standards.
Pure Taekwondo teaches Taeguek although Taeguek is the official poomse (forms) to attain a Kukkiwon black belt certification.
Palgwe form are a legacy form, that we may teach from time to time, but is not a prerequisite for attaining higher levels at Pure Taekwondo.

We recommend children of 5 years of age as the minimum age limit. Martial arts in general is a high impact activity, we recommend for parents to think twic about enrolling your children at an earlier age. Children are their own indvidiual and may have a great aptitude to do martial arts traing. The best way to find out is by booking a demo class to see if it is a fit.
Students must meet the Pure Taekwondo criteria to become eligible for black belt testing. If you would like additional information regarding black belt requirements, please visit the Pure Taekwondo curriculum page.
Pure Taekwondo does not have a limitation to the amount of classes a registered member can attend. Pure Taekwondo members are recommended to attend a minimum of two classes per week but can attend more based on the schedule. Members should check the schedule before attending other classes.
Students that progress through Pure Taekwondo are encouraged to spar in a safe, supervised and friendly environment.
Sparring is taught at the yellow belt level and is a requirment for belt graduation. All students that achieve yellow belt are required to own Pure Taekwondo standardized sparring equipment.

Pure Taekwondo provides quality martial arts training in Taekwondo, Self-Defense, and Olympic style sparring. Martial Arts in general is a long term commitment.
We are not a black belt factory or a mcdoojo that just pushes out students to get to the next level. There are many schools like that, Pure Taekowndo isn't one of them.
We are a traditional in every sense of the word. All our students earn their levels here. This is to give them a sense of achivement, ownership of their abilities and pride.
